My Diet

The results are in and I have lost 20 lbs since January! I can't believe it. I feel so much better and look great too! I am not done yet still need to tone up and then we will be looking great. I am so glad Jackson got me this for Christmas. It has been the best present ever!

Julie's Birthday!

It was Julie's birthday on Sunday. It was decided to let her have the day off cooking. So, we went to Rodizio's. It was so fun to see the family! We all had a great time. We gave Julie a CD of Jackson talking when he was about Orion's age, some pretty white roses, and Persephone made her a painting with her finger paint that we put in a fame. (We also gave her a pack of Diet Coke which she thought was so funny!) I hope she had a great birthday and hope this year brings many wonderful things. (Hopefully some more grandkids, not from us!)

Dusty made her a heart picture, she loves hearts, and she got really teary eyed.

Persephone helped make the frosting for the cake and got to lick the beaters! She loved that!

Easter 2009

This Easter was great! The first thing Persephone and I did for the first time was coloring eggs. Persephone got really frustrated that I wouldn't let her do it on her own but it was still fun. Both the kids enjoyed being with family and having lots of fun finding eggs. We had a great dinner with the immediate family and then headed to the Hardings for the Easter egg hunt. It was great to see everyone, although we missed Danny, Afton and the baby by ten minutes. We had a great time.

The Aquarium....again!

Jackson and I thought it would be nice one Saturday to spend some time with Ali. So, we called her up and asked if she wanted to do something. It turned into a huge family thing, which the kids loved. We went to the aquarium. It was nice to see Miles interact with Persephone and it was good to see the family. Afterwards we had lunch and mingled. Persephone and Miles really enjoyed playing together. The kids had a great time with the family. It was so fun.

Our Vegas Vacation!

Well, we decided that we needed a little vacation to Las Vegas. The kids were really excited and so were we. The drive went better that expected and Persephone did a really good job. We got there around 1 pm. It was really warm outside. We got to see the lions at MGM, M&M World. By the time the first day was over we were all worn out. We went to bed early to get a early start on the next day. We mostly walked around the next day. We got tickets to The Tournament of Kings and Popovich. We were excited to see both. Orion got a lot of sun that day and was not doing to well but he really enjoyed the Tournament show. The next day Orion was not doing to well. He was crabby and itchy all over. We spent a lot of time at the hotel because of it. Persephone and Jackson went to see Popovich. She was ok with it but came out crying (we never found out why). We tried to do what we could but Orion was having a hard time. We left the next day and were glad to be going home. It was so nice to get home and allow the kids to run around and play with their toys. So, not the best vacation but it was nice.

Chuck-e-Cheese

Just to have some fun with daddy (since he was gone for three days) we went to Chuck-e-Cheese. It was crazy busy but the kids had a lot of fun. It was nice to just get to spend some time as a family.

My Diet

So far I would have to say that this diet has been pretty easy and I am happy with the results (so far). I have had some trouble days and it's not fun when you are sick. I have lost 13 lbs since January 4th. I started at 150 lbs and now weight 137 lbs. I have 17 more pounds to go and I really feel like I can get there. I have already had to buy new pants. I can only hope that the rest goes this well.
