School

Today we finally went back to school after a week off. Persephone was so excited. She really missed all of her classmates and her teacher. She loves to color and play on the play area and she really enjoys snack time. We even have a wall in the kitchen of all the drawings she has made a school. Then we went to McDonald's and played around there and had lunch. It was a fun morning.

Enjoying the shower

Here they are enjoying their bedtime shower. This is the first time that Orion has been able to sit in the water and he really seems to enjoy it. Persephone was great she didn't attack him and tried to play nice the whole time. Before you know it they will be taking baths together.

Potty Time!

Persephone has finally accomplished potty time. She went poo poo on the potty for the first time last night. She did it all on her own without mommy or daddy really trying. We are so proud of her. So, this morning I put her in her first pair of Ariel undies. She is really proud of herself. I bet before the summer is over she will be wearing her undies all the time. (and it will be nice to have one of them out of diapers!)

Our Little Sitter

Well, everyone he can finally sit all on his own. He still falls over once in a while but is doing great. He really loves sitting on the couch. He likes to pat it to hear the sound it makes and how it feels. He doesn't get to sit often though or he gets attacked by his sister. With time we think he will be crawling soon.

Our Weekend

Well, We started out our weekend thinking that we were going to go to Las Vegas because Jackson had Monday off, but it just didn't happen. In the end we were glad though. We want it to be more fun when we go in August. So, instead we took Persephone and Orion to Chuck E. Cheese's. She really loved it. She has been asking to go there for weeks now. Playing all the games was really fun and she got to take some prizes home too.

Then in the afternoon we when to this really awesome park. It is the biggest park I have seen in Utah (So far). She was not to happy when we left, but I have a feeling we will be back. So, not the most exciting weekend but we were still happy and Jackson didn't go to work feeling wasted. It was a great weekend!!!

Playgroup at Flour Girls & Dough Boys Bakery

Today we went to our playgroup only to find that we were a half hour later. Sad! But we had fun. When I was first told about going there the lady said that there was a kitchen for the kids to make food in. Well, I thought that they got to really make food. Imagine my surprise when I realized that it was just a play kitchen. That's OK, Persephone loved it and she loved to play with the kids. She has a friend that really likes to play with her. His name is Alex and every time that we go to a playgroup he only wants to play with her! Cute!!! I love that she gets to have lots of fun. So we will keep going.

Our Orion

I can't believe that six months ago this little guy came into our live. Now look at him he is growing very fast and just a little cutie. He has learned how to roll from back to tummy and tummy to back but crawling is not far off. I can't wait to see what he does next.

Easter 2008

We started Easter with a bang. On Friday, we went to a playgroup where Persephone got to meet the Easter Bunny for the first time. She was jumping and giggling.

On Saturday we went to a family Easter egg hunt at UVU. We froze our butts off for an hour waiting to get the eggs. NOT FUN!

On Sunday we had an Easter egg hunt at our home. Persephone loved all the toys she got to get in the eggs. We then went to an extended family dinner followed by the best Easter egg hunt all weekend. Persephone got to run around the her Auntie Ali. Giggle with cousin Miles and have a great time. She went home tired and happy. Orion was just as cute as can be since he still can't move around. It was a great weekend.

Jackson's 30th Birthday

We recently celebrated Jackson's 30th Birthday.! The whole family came to Chili's and we had a great time. Jackson and I celebrated it quietly just going out for dinner and some alone time.We look forward to another year of surprises!
