Graduation!

Today Persephone went to her preschool graduation. When I first got there the kids were sitting in a row and she got up immediately and started crying. It was so cute. I just loved her little graduation hat. She got a certificate and the teacher said she was the most friendly. She was always happy to see everyone and got excited whenever anyone came to class. They sang songs and then there were a lot of pictures taken. I was so proud of her and sad that she will not be back till August with a new teacher. We then went to lunch with daddy. It was a great day!

Our Trip to Las Vegas

This weekend we decided to take a short trip to Las Vegas. It didn't started out well. We got up two hours late because bad sleep. We did make it though and we were glad we did. Persephone had a great time. She got to go to M&M World, see the lions at the MGM Grand and (her favorite) the Aquarium at the Mandalay bay. She was so exhausted at the end of the day. She even got to sleep in a big bed. The next day was not as fun. We walked around a bit then decided it was time to go home. We were so proud of her for making it down there with no problems but the trip back was not so lucky. In the end we were so glad we went.

Talking for the Camera

I just couldn't resist catching Persephone and Orion talking on the camera. Orion has really become a chatter bug. I just love when he really gets going for what seems forever. I love that they are both growing in so many ways.

Ali's Birthday at Boodocks

Saturday we went to Boondocks for Ali's 17Th birthday party. It was a really nice day. Persephone got to ride on the go cart's even though she wasn't quite big enough. She just loved it until Ali crashed and got mad. Persephone started crying but had a good time in the end. We played around inside for a while before we went out to ride on the bumper boats. It was a long wait. I didn't think that she was going to make it to the front of the line. We did. She had a great time. I just loved to hear her giggle like crazy when the water hit us.

Friday at school Persephone got to make a Mother's Day picture for me. I got tears in my eyes. I just loved this picture and I will keep it for ever. Hope everyone has a Happy Mother's Day.

Playgroup at Discovery Park

Today we went to a playgroup a Discovery Park. It was a little windy but the kids didn't seem to mind. Persephone really loves this park. There are so many places to run around and things to do. I had a bit of a hard time because I had to carry Orion and it is so hard to keep up with her. When we got home the kids were so worn out that they both slept for two hours.

Here he is playing in his favorite sitting position. I was watching him get so close to putting the ball in the dragon but he couldn't quite get it. I was so proud of him. He is really making a lot of progress moving. I can't wait for him to crawl, to bad he doesn't like being on his tummy that much. I still love the little cutie.

Playgroup at the Bean Life Science Musuem!

We had a great time finally getting out of the house this week. We went to a playgroup and it was so fun. Persephone was so excited that she couldn't even stay in one place. She wanted to look at all of the animals but when we found the playroom she wanted to stay there and play with the kids. A lady read stories and then she brought out a big Iguana for the kids to see. Persephone went up and pet it and tried to pull on its spiky things and the lady told her to be careful. I thought for sure it was going to bite her but she was done with that and went back to play with the toys. It was a great day, even Orion had a lot of fun. We then finished the afternoon off by having lunch with daddy. She was so worn out that she took a great nap. I was so happy.

Watching Abby

Well, Persephone was so excited to have Abby come to play with her at our house but Abby was not to happy. She was sad that her mom was gone. Persephone kept trying to get her to play but she was just sad. I was able to take a few pictures of them playing for a few minutes. Persephone as so disappointed that they didn't get to play more. In the end we learned from the experience.

My Hat

Persephone was so cute when I discovered her with the tissue box cover on her head. She kept saying it was her hat. I thought she was adorable so we had to take photos. We just love her.

Swinging Orion

I figured out how to take video with our digital camera so I just had to capture Orion doing something. He was just sitting in his swing looking cute when I got this video. He has really begun to have a personality all his own. He is much more low key and quieter than Persephone. He is also so much bigger he currently weighs 20 lbs 10 Oz's. I can't believe it. I just wish he could crawl. I just know that he would love that. Isn't he such a cutie? We just love him!

Dinner Time

I just had to post this. One night will dad was working late Persephone and I had dinner. I decided to make the Spiderman macaroni and cheese we had. I have never seen her eat so well. She did a great job and ate more than she usually does. I was so proud of her.
