Jenna's Birthday!

Well, I have turned 29. I had a really great day! You know why? Because I spent it with the people I love!!! My family!!! (Sorry, no pic this time. )

It's Potty Time!!!

Well, I can't believe it but Persephone is ready for potty training. For the last week we have been really trying to make sure that she goes pee on the potty every once in a while. A couple of days ago she started tell me that she needed to go pee and I would help her go. I thought it was great that she would do that but I didn't think that much of it. Well, today she says "Mom, I need to go poop on the potty." So, I took her in not thinking much of it. I got the shock of my life! She did it!!! She went poop on the potty!!! I couldn't believe it. I was so proud of her and a little overwhelmed. I never expected it to just happen. She got to wear undies for the whole rest of the night (about four hours). She went pee twice at grandma's and stayed dry. I am so excited for her and scared for myself. I hope this is a good experience for both of us (and I can't believe my little girl is growing so fast)!

Our Halloween Extravaganza!!!

Well, our Halloween was a busy one. By the time it was all over I was all "halloweened" out but Persephone really enjoyed it. Our first appearance was at our playgroup. She really loved that except one of the kids had white makeup on his face and she was really scared of him. We had a great time.

On Thursday we went to school where she got to wear her costume and she got to trick or treat with the other class.

On Halloween day we went to Jackson's work first. She was really shy there. A lot of people had costumes on and she got really scared of some of them. One girl was dressed as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and Persephone was not at all excited. She wouldn't even go near her. I was so surprised that it took us over an hour to get through it all. Later on that day we went to the mall and had dinner. We also got to do trick or treating there. Then it was off to Sarah, Miles and Lamar's house for a party and MORE trick or treating. It was so fun! Persephone had a really great time. It was fun to see the family in costumes. Miles was a pirate and Ester was a scarecrow or a farmer I am not sure which (Sorry I didn't ask). I was so tired at the end of it all and glad that it is over but still excited for next year. Persephone still asks to wear her costume. It's cute!!!
