Our Vegas Vacation!

Well, we decided that we needed a little vacation to Las Vegas. The kids were really excited and so were we. The drive went better that expected and Persephone did a really good job. We got there around 1 pm. It was really warm outside. We got to see the lions at MGM, M&M World. By the time the first day was over we were all worn out. We went to bed early to get a early start on the next day. We mostly walked around the next day. We got tickets to The Tournament of Kings and Popovich. We were excited to see both. Orion got a lot of sun that day and was not doing to well but he really enjoyed the Tournament show. The next day Orion was not doing to well. He was crabby and itchy all over. We spent a lot of time at the hotel because of it. Persephone and Jackson went to see Popovich. She was ok with it but came out crying (we never found out why). We tried to do what we could but Orion was having a hard time. We left the next day and were glad to be going home. It was so nice to get home and allow the kids to run around and play with their toys. So, not the best vacation but it was nice.

Chuck-e-Cheese

Just to have some fun with daddy (since he was gone for three days) we went to Chuck-e-Cheese. It was crazy busy but the kids had a lot of fun. It was nice to just get to spend some time as a family.

My Diet

So far I would have to say that this diet has been pretty easy and I am happy with the results (so far). I have had some trouble days and it's not fun when you are sick. I have lost 13 lbs since January 4th. I started at 150 lbs and now weight 137 lbs. I have 17 more pounds to go and I really feel like I can get there. I have already had to buy new pants. I can only hope that the rest goes this well.

The Dinosaur Museum

We decided it would be nice to do something fun with the kids. It was off to the dinosaur museum. Persephone and Orion really loved it! Orion got to walk around which he really liked and Persephone got to spend some quality time with daddy. It overall was a very good day.

February Birthday Bash!

Well, what better way to celebrate all of the February birthdays than a big get together with the family. Conway and Diane were gracious enough to let everyone in to their new home (which was fantastic)! It was a great family get together. It had seemed like forever since we had seen anyone. It was also good to see Uncle Tom do well. We really enjoyed everyones company. Now if only the family wasn't so big, I would love to do that every month (Birthdays or not)!
