Our Busy Weekend

This weekend was a crazy weekend. By the end of it Jackson and I were exhausted. Jackson had Thursday off, so we went to the carnival here for Strawberry Days. Persephone had so much fun. She really loved to ride the rides for the first time in her whole life.

On Friday was Jackson's work had there annual summer party at Lagoon. The day started at 11:30 and ended at 6:00.Persephone had a ball riding all the rides made for kids. She got scared on a lot but still kept going. Poor Orion couldn't do anything and he got really tired. It was not easy getting him to sleep with all that noise but it worked out. They were so exhausted by the time we left that they both fell right asleep as soon as we started driving. Jackson and I were glad it was over. We were hot and tired but it was fun. But our day was yet to end.............

Thanksgiving Point's Farm Country

On Saturday we went to Thanksgiving Point's Farm Country. It was great! Persephone got to experience really farm animals and even got to see a horse go to the bathroom. She got to ride a pony. At first she was scared but as it got moving she really loved it. Then we to a ride on a horse drawn wagon. It was a really fun Saturday activity!

Orion's First Hair Cut

Orion got his first hair cut on Saturday. I was glad and sad at the same time. He really needed it, but I was sad to see his long lock's go. We can't believe how different he looks. He is still such a cutie and it will be nice to have short hair for the summer.

Maddie's Graduation

On Wednesday we went to Maddie's high school graduation. It was really nice to be a part of a wonderful experience for Maddie. I couldn't help but think during the ceremony how in 16 years we will be sitting as parents at Persephone's graduation. We all had a fun time. We then went to dinner as a family. It was so nice to sit and talk to the family (The kids were with the babysitter). We really got to talk a lot with Jolly and Christian more than we normally. We both enjoyed it. The only downside it that we didn't get home till after midnight, but I am glad we had a great time.

Ali's Elite Party

On Saturday Ali had a big day. We went to a party for the Elite/Pulse Management grand opening of their office is Salt Lake and the groundbreaking for the new complex across the street. Ali spoke about how she was discovered and they had a model's wake the runway as they searched for the "Utah's Next Top Model". We all had a blast! Ali was wearing a really amazing dress and Persephone had a great time. Persephone even got up at the end and danced and walked on the runway.Orion had a great time. He was so tired before the night was over. He slept so well that night.
